Summer is in full swing and we’ve dreamed up some sunny inspiration for a staycation at home. Yes, we’re missing some of our dream destinations this year, but we’ve got two great ways to transform your outdoor space into an oasis.
The first is color. One bright splash of bright blue, yellow, white, or coral is all you need to be transported to far off places in your own personal space. Creating a bold outdoor color palette can range from painting (remember to use outdoor grade paint for maximum longevity and durability), to recovering outdoor cushions to adding a stylish and colorful outdoor rug to your space.
The second is lighting. The right lighting can add wonderful ambience and warmth to your summer nights. Light the way to backyard beauty by sparking joy with fabulous accessories such as lanterns and candles that can be purchased or thrifted. Bring the indoors out by repurposing something you might already have inside. A little twinkle (lighting) can go a long way.
